Discord anti-scam on images: how it works

Text filters catch “free nitro” in chat. Scammers put the same text on an image. We read that text from the image on our servers in Europe, not via third-party AI.

What OCR does and does not do

Setup in five steps

  1. Add SecureKy and open panel.secureky.eu.
  2. Modules → Scam trap → Active.
  3. Choose actions: log, quarantine, ban, start mild (log) to test.
  4. Set a mod log channel so staff sees what was blocked.
  5. Optional: combine with AI moderation for text toxicity.
